Our History
The Bank of Delmarva was chartered as the Bank of Delmar on December 14, 1896 by a group of businessmen and farmers. The bank opened for business on May 4, 1897 in Delmar, Maryland, then a thriving railroad town. Having celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1997, we remain committed to serving the local community and take pride in knowing our customers while providing them excellent service.
